Town Cup 2019

Burnham Week 2019 culminated, as usual, in the Town Cup, this year on Saturday 31st August.

It was won by yacht Jackal, a J-92 designed by renowned American yacht designer Rod Johnstone. She was built in 2000 in France and brought to Burnham under new ownership in December 2018.

In the spring the new owners sailed the yacht back from the Hamble in what turned out to be a difficult trip as the weather was cold with strong winds from the East.

For the Town Cup Jackal was helmed by Doug Duce, who took over from Flynn Davies who had helmed during the week.
