Despite the fact that Burnham on Crouch is a ‘one-road town out in the sticks’, it is the best connected town in the area.

It has a railway line that, during rush hour, can have you in London’s  Liverpool Street inside an hour.

The bus service is reliable and the roads serving the town, while somewhat bendy, offer beautiful views of the countryside and are, generally, pretty well-maintained.

Burnham is about 40 minutes by car from the M25, using the A13, A127 or A12.
