Air Cadets: 2531 Detached Flight Air Training Corps, Burnham on Crouch

The Air Cadets help provide training for young people with a view to an engineering-related  career.

Some go on to the military, but not all.

For example, in 2018 a local young Air Cadet has gone on to train for being a pilot with easyJet.

Scouts: 1st Burnham on Crouch

This club offers places for:

  • Beavers (ages 6–8)
  • Cubs (ages 8-10½)
  • Scouts (ages 10½–14)
  • Explorer Scouts (ages 14–18)

Meetings are held at the Scout Hut on Millfields Road, between the Library and the Dengie Hundred Sports Centre on the right hand side of the road as you travel away from Station Road.
