The Rural Discovery Church in St Lawrence is part church, part museum.
It offers extensive views across the Blackwater Estuary. and exhibitons and a strawberry fair in the summer.
Three generations of the Wedgewood Benn family are commemorated at the church – the late and famous left-wing Member of Parliament Anthony Wedgewood Benn lived at the nearby Stansgate Abbey Farm.
