The people of Burnham-on-Crouch celebrated the Coronation of King Charles III in style, thanks to the efforts of Town Council staff and councillors from the outgoing administration.
There were three days of festivities, including the screening of the Coronation in Riverside Park on Saturday 6 May, a Coronation Party in the Park on 7th, which included a simulcast of the Coronation Concert at Windsor Castle, and a separate event on Monday 8th at St Mary’s Church run by Fiona Clegg among a host of other volunteers. It was attended by the Lord-Lieutenant of Essex, Mrs Jennifer Tolhurst DL.
