In 2018 the Town Cup was won, again, by Digger Harden,  sailing Glorious Fools for the Burnham Sailing Club.

This is only the second time that the Burnham Sailing Club has won the cup – and the second time in a row that Digger has won it.

Glorious Fools helmsman Doug Duce has now  notched up five Town Cup wins in different boats.

Town Mayor Wendy Stamp presented the cup on the final Saturday of Burnham Week in the courtyard of the Royal Burnham Yacht Club a few hours before the amazing firework display on the river.
